Cay Moore PT, PYT-c
Physical Therapist

Cay received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from UNC Chapel Hill in 1993. For the first 10 years of her career, she worked mostly in inpatient and outpatient rehab as well as home health and a variety of settings across the US as a traveling physical therapist. During this time, she became interested in functional manual physical therapy and began studying extensively with the Institute of Physical Art.

Cay began practicing yoga in 2002 and loved how it complemented her client’s physical therapy sessions and improved her own physical, mental and spiritual health. She completed her yoga teacher training through the Holistic Yoga Therapy Institute in Charlotte and earned her RYT 200. In the past 10 years, she has studied Medical Therapeutic Yoga through the Professional Yoga Therapy Institute. She has taught alignment based yoga classes for the past 18 years and loves working 1:1 with clients to help them make modifications to their current yoga program or develop an individualized yoga program to further their fitness/rehab goals.

Since 2016, Cay has worked in private practice and began studying Myofascial Release and Integrative Lifestyle Medicine. She is an Advanced Myofascial Release Practitioner and utilizes the concepts of good nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management and social connection to assist her clients in reaching their wellness goals.

Cay has 3 (almost grown) children and a dog. Playing outdoors, traveling, spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, reading and learning all make her very happy. She is super excited to join the Congruency team and looks forward to helping clients reach their full potential.

Kelsey Hight PT, DPT, COMT
Physical Therapist

Kelsey completed her undergraduate degree at Appalachian State University and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Campbell University. During her time at Campbell University, she was on the executive board and assisted in the development of the pro bono clinic serving members of the rural community. The clinic still operates today, providing experience for PT students under the supervision of faculty members. While at Campbell and shortly thereafter, she completed coursework and competency testing as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy

From a young age through college, Kelsey was a competitive athlete in volleyball, softball, and soccer. At ten years of age, Kelsey broke her ankle during a soccer game, which caused her to undergo physical therapy treatment. Ever since this experience, she has known that helping others as a physical therapist was the career path for her. Kelsey has a special interest in treating patients with pelvic floor and postpartum issues, vestibular rehabilitation, runners, and individuals who are serious about preventative care and rehabbing after injuries. She has a passion for manual therapy and has pursued certifications in other techniques such as trigger point dry needling. In her previous position, Kelsey served as an assessor of dry needling for her colleagues in multiple clinics. She was also the vestibular and concussion champion and provided continuing education to clinicians to help expand these programs. Kelsey also serves as a guest lecturer at Rowan County Community College (RCCC) PTA program lecturing on pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Kelsey has aspirations of completing her fellowship through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy and will be entering the program in the fall of 2024. She considers herself to be a physical therapy nerd and strives to provide excellent and individualized care to her patients to prevent injury, aid in recovery, normalize function and mechanics, and allow them to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

When not working Kelsey enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dog. She loves to play volleyball, ride her peloton, read, and sing.

Meg Mizrachi PT, DPT, OCS
Head Physical Therapist

Meg received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercy College in New York and joined a private practice on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. While there she developed specializations in treating runners and dancers; pelvic floor and postpartum issues; and connective tissue disorders like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Her strong interest in helping people overcome injuries and return to their sport as quickly as possible has also led her to earn certifications in emerging techniques such as trigger point dry needling, RockTape, Personalized Blood Flow Restriction, and Graston. Since then she has become a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the APTA.

Prior to PT school, Meg earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. As a professional dancer she worked with modern dance companies in NYC and abroad, dancing at venues such as the Kennedy Center, the Adrienne Arsht Center and Palacio de Bellas Artes. Though her first love was dance, her desire to analyze movement and help others move sent her back to school. Meg has completed the NYC Marathon and can be seen as a fitness model on RunnersWorld.com. With a passion for fitness and wellness, Meg strives to help every person recover from injury, restore function and become their best self.

In 2020, Meg, her husband Eliot, and their two crazy boys outgrew their apartment lifestyle and relocated to North Carolina where she joined Novant Health. Despite the benefits of working in a large health network, she missed the personal relationships and broader treatment opportunities she enjoyed in private practice. In 2022, she jumped at the opportunity to join Congruency Therapy & Wellness and looks forward to helping people return to lives full of the joy of movement.

Sarah stayed in Honduras to help Hacienda San Lucas expand where she found a love for the hospitality industry. She has worked for Omni Hotels in Boston, San Francisco and Richmond, in addition to roles with a commercial real estate analytics company.

Sarah has a passion for helping people and is excited to be part of the Congruency team. She is enjoying getting to know Charlotte and always welcomes suggestions on places to explore with her family.

Travis Gerrald PT, DPT, CFMT
Owner/Founder

Travis was first introduced to the Functional Manual Therapy® (FMT) approach while in Physical Therapy School.  He witnessed the power of FMT and recognized the importance of considering the entire body and enhancing function, more than simply treating symptoms.  Travis spent the first five years of his career learning this approach.  During this time, he participated in the IPA Residency Program in New York City, studying the FMT approach in-depth.  In August 2019, he completed an intense testing process, in which he achieved the prestige of becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist — passing with Distinction. Travis is now in a Faculty role with the Institute of Physical Art and educates other physical therapists about the FMT approach.

While living in NYC, Travis had the opportunity to provide backstage treatments to Broadway performers weekly at Hamilton and also treated at a variety of other shows including Aladdin, Book of Mormon, Mean Girls, and Chicago.

Travis recently completed the Titleist Performance Institute Level I certification. He found he was attracting many golfers in the Charlotte area looking to maximize their efficiency on the golf course. They were looking for ways to improve their game to avoid/manage injuries. As a result, he sought out the certification to enhance this ability to serve his growing golfer clientele.

Travis completed his undergraduate work at Clemson University in 2009 and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Elon University in 2014. In addition to his FMT training, he has studied and taken courses from the work of Bob Elvey, Geoffrey Maitland, and The Gray Institute.

He maintains professional interest in studying manipulative therapy, visceral mobilization, and the effect of nutrition on inflammation. His experience also includes cervicogenic headaches, spine pathologies, TMD, and enhancing the ability to connect the human body as one efficient unit to allow for decreased pain, improved function and enhanced physical performance.

Outside of work, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife, Keely, his sons, Bo (4) and Wyatt (2). He loves to eat good food, exercise, watch college football, and listen to books/podcasts on entrepreneurism and professional development.

Travis looks forward to partnering with the active professionals of Charlotte in helping them meet their wellness and performance goals.
